    Equinox sunrise over the North Slip in South Chicago as seen from Route 41 (Lakeshore Drive Extension). The North Slip used to be where ships docked to unload their cargo of iron ore for steel production in the now closed US Steel South Plant. You can still see the remnants of the massive ore wall on the right of the photo.
