Chihuly
In 2001, glass sculptor Dale Chihuly had a successful exhibit at the Garfield Park Conservatory (that put the decrepit garden back on the map and people's consciousness). The exhibit was very popular that it had to be extended a few more months. When the exhibit was over, some pieces were either donated by the sculptor himself or by some benevolent donor and left on display in the koi pool.
