    Harbor Bridge

I was basically touring around Sydney on my own. I was staying with a friend in Woollhara - he told me to take a bus and go to Circular Key. I was like, what is Circular Key? I never saw it on the map. He didn't explain to me that 'quay' was pronounced as such.

  • Swimming with Dolphins

    Swimming with Dolphins

At Coff's Habour's Pet Porpoise Pool (now defunct) in May 1983. While swimming with the dolphins, the caretakers were laughing their ass off while watching me. It turned out, one of the dolphins was trying to hump me. Whew. And I thought it was just being friendly. I guess it was.

  • Baby Joey

    Baby Joey

Tending to a baby kangaroo with its mother at the Pet Porpoise Pool (now defunct) in Coffs Harbour, NSW. Analog. I am not sure which camera I used for this, but this came from a slide and I didn't own a 35mm camera then. I must have borrowed one from somebody. Coffs Harbour, NSW, 1983.

    Mosman

On the beach with my brother in Mosman, NSW. Mosman is a suburb of Sydney on its Lower North Shore. Taken Christmas of 1981 with, most probably., a Kodak 110 instamatic camera. I was on a break from grad studies in New Zealand. Mosman, NSW, 1982.

  • Norman Lindsay

    Norman Lindsay

This was taken at the Norman Lindsay Gallery and Museum in Faulconbridge, New South Wales just outside Sydney. With me (I'm in blue) is my brother who was based in Sydney then. Norman Lindsay is the Australian artist whose life was portrayed in the film Sirens starring Hugh Grant, Sam Neil, Elle MacPherson, Portia de Rossi and Tara Fitzgerald among a few. Analog. This might have actually been taken with a 110 Kodak instamatic camera.

  • Norman Lindsay

    Norman Lindsay

This is a bit personal as I wasn't as keen into serious photography back in 1982 compared to now. This was taken at the Norman Lindsay Gallery and Museum in Faulconbridge, New South Wales outside of Sydney. Norman Lindsay is the Australian artist whose life was portrayed in the film Sirens starring Hugh Grant, Sam Neil, Elle MacPherson, Portia de Rossi and Tara Fitzgerald among a few.
